Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)


What is EFT – Emotional Freedom Technique?

EFT is also known as ‘tapping.’ It is completely safe and non-intrusive; a gentle yet powerful therapy that quickly releases all aspects of physical, emotional and psychological discomforts and concerns. The treatment is applied by tapping specific areas of the body just using your two fingers together. The tapping is carried out at points on the surface of the skin where the action is transmitted to the problem area by means of the body’s meridian system. It works in the same way as acupuncture but without the needles! Once learned EFT is the perfect ‘self – help’ tool as there is no way it can cause harm and it requires no equipment, just your own two adjacent fingers.

EFT is also known as Meridian Energy Therapy because it uses the Meridian System of the body

EFT can produce quick and immediate benefits when tackling many problems such as anger, anxiety, sleep deprivation, pain, addictions, fears and phobias, weight and food issues, confidence among many others

EFT works, just like acupuncture, directly on the meridian system in the body but without the needles. You will learn for yourself how to tap with two fingers on various points on your body while incorporating a statement which focuses on the problem or issue

EFT works in a direct way with the negative emotion. By gently tapping on certain body points it brings attention, physically and mentally, to the different emotions and feelings which reside in different energy pathways in the body (held as a memory). The increased awareness of these points makes it easier for those emotions and feeling to emerge to the surface, gently disperse and disappear.

The results are usually instant, leaving you with full relief or at least partial relief (depending on the issue) from the symptoms or feelings.

Additional sessions maybe needed for deeper rooted issues; however, this is assessed each session.

What can EFT be used as a treatment for?

EFT can be used for almost any issue or difficulty of concern be it physical, rational, emotional or spiritual, as there is an emotion attached and connected to each and every human condition and situation that exists, put simply this is just exactly how you as a human being have been made and designed to be.

EFT is great for anxiety and stress relief which is also taught as a self-help tool that enables you to access relaxation at any time you need to, both now and in the future, to give you peace of mind and control of yourself and your life.
